Mulligatawny
Nothing in it points to wheat, and lentils thicken the soup on their own. The one hidden risk is hing (asafoetida), a spice that is often sold cut with wheat flour. A Google reviewer praised Shalimar's version.
All seven Uber Eats orders from December 2025 to October 2026, itemized from your Uber Eats history and checked against the receipts to the cent. The soups and tonight's planner are at the bottom.
Butter chicken and palak paneer made six of seven, and spinach in some form was in every order. Six had a lamb curry, usually rogan josh. October 4 was the planner's starting order, dish for dish. Every dot is one dish on one night. Hover or tab to a dot for the price.
Across the seven orders, $549 of food came to $708 paid. Tax and fees after discounts added $46, and the tip added $113, the biggest add-on. October 4 cost the most per dollar of food: apart from the free naan, its discounts came to only $8.71.
Shalimar has three soups. Its website says every dish is made with no gluten. That can't include the naan and samosas, so it reads as a good sign for the cooked dishes rather than a promise. A call to (518) 439-4200 settles it.

Not a standard dish, so there's no usual recipe to go by. No flour is named, but cream soups are sometimes thickened with it.
A Persian soup. Most recipes stir 1 to 4 tablespoons of flour into the onions to thicken it, and a few use rice flour. Best kept as William's unless they say theirs is flour-free.
What to ask: "Is there wheat flour in the eshkeneh or the coconut soup, and is the hing in the mulligatawny gluten-free?" A note on the Uber Eats item can't get an answer back to you, so a call is the way. The soups are in the planner below.
It starts as your usual, the same six dishes as October 4: onion pakora, butter chicken, palak paneer, chana masala, lamb rogan josh and the garlic naan. The naan is now free only with $36 of other food (it was $24), and the usual is about $70, so it still comes free. Swap or add from the lists. Dishes marked wheat have visible wheat, so they're William's. The soups carry their own gluten note. Everything else suits Ciara.
Sizing from your food log: October's six dishes covered your dinner that night and three more of your meals (lunch on the 5th, dinners on the 6th and 7th). Basmati rice comes with the curries, so you never need to order it.
